Vessel is equipped with very large freezer and cooler
storage compartments as well as dry stores and provisions compartments. As
this vessel was a Coast Guard vessel she is fitted with all the equipment,
insulation, heating, etc. required for operations in the Arctic and
Antarctic regions. It is important to note that over the years up to the
present time this vessel has been maintained to the highest of standards
as is evident upon inspection and in standing with Coast Guard policies.
Vessel is equipped with bow bubbler system to reduce ice friction.
If needed the ship could
carry as many as 20 TEU’s for cargo requirements, these containers could easily
be loaded and unloaded using the ships 20 MT lifting crane. In addition to the
ships 3 cranes, the vessel also has numerous other features which include a
Helicopter Deck and refuelling station, accommodations for 52 people, and over
300 square meters of deck space.
