Atlantic Marine is proud to announce the availability of the 62M Offshore & Oceanograpahic Survey & support vessel, "Atlantic Surveyor". Purchased in May 2011, this multipupose vessel is capable of many offshore support, survey, hydropgraphic, geotechnical, supply, cargo and salvage operations. The ship has been recently audited by several major North European Oil Companies and has been recently and extensively used on offshore windfarm for accommodation support (see the wind farm transfer ladder at the stern), survey and ROV operations. Geotechnical and ROV support: Where position keeping is critical and survey facilities paramount, Atlantic Surveyor is the right choice of offshore and subsea survey support. The ship operates on DP0, She is fitted with multiple thrusters for station keeping and a high level of mobile control. Bow Thrusters, Stern Thrust and Diesel Electric propulsion governs the speed of the main propeller and thrusters to a high level of accuracy and the ship will maintain station +/- 5M in up to 30 knots of wind with a cross current component whilst launching a 9T CPT or Vibrocore unit. Sufficient to govern speeds of less than 1 knot up to her maximum of 12.5 knots. The ship is also fitted with a through hull moon pool, A frame and a heavy lift crane for overside Bouy and ROV operations. See photos below
