Built
in Holland by Van Lent Shipyard in 1982, "MONACO" is a much
sought after 'Feadship' motor yacht - and due to constant upgrading is as
attractive and comfortable as when launched. Owners maintain the yacht
to the demanding standards of Lloyds Register of Shipping in London, and
the yacht is classed Lloyds +100A1, +LMC. She carries her name
"MONACO" by kind permission of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III of
Monaco, and enjoys the warmest of receptions when visiting the
Principality.
|
|||
The
large deck spaces give "MONACO" a real 'Big-Ship' feel whilst
cruising or at anchor. Swimming Platform, Shaded Aft Deck, Boat
Deck with Bar, and Top Sunbathing Deck.
|
|||
This
new bar feature was added in 2001. Complete with awning, this Boat Deck
Bar area is fully fitted with Bar-B-Q and everything the fussy Yachtsman
could possible need to ensure total happiness.
|
|||
With
boats launched, the Boat Deck becomes a sunbathing haven with
comfortable steamer chair-loungers. Just five short paces from the Bar -
this is what relaxation is about.
|
|||
The
Aft Deck, which opens into the all-new fitted Saloon, is the perfect
spot to relax whilst cruising. Sitting here with your first glass of
champagne of the day, watching the Riviera unfold as you cruise from
Cannes to Monaco - with the promise of the Casino and all the Monte
Carlo has to offer is (believe us) just paradise.

The
Lounge Saloon was totally re-modelled in 2001. The style is 'simply
classical', and Oh Boy - does it look good. With its Panasonic 42-inch
plasma screen TV (inc Satellite TV), Sony tri-logic video, DVD and Bose
multi-play CD - this charming Saloon turns into a Cinema or Concert
Hall 'at the touch of a button'.

The
Dining Saloon area was re-fitted during 2001, and is all new. Long-term
comfort for eight to ten diners, with panoramic views, ensures that
every meal-time is an 'occasion'. Direct service from adjacent
galley.

Accommodation
is for eight guests, and "MONACO" has two spacious 'Master
Staterooms' of comparable size.. The first is separate from the other
accommodation on the Main Deck, forward, and has a queen sized bed and
walk-in closet. The ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower.
|
|||
The
second Stateroom is situated below deck, amidships, and stretches the
full width of the yacht. It features a king sized bed and a walk in
closet. The bathroom is with shower.
|
|||
The
other two Guest Cabins are of equal size, and each has twin beds. Both
with ensuite showers and facilities.
|
|||
If
you like watersports - "MONACO" is definitely for you. The
crew are fanatically keen 'water-sporters', and delighted to run around
in the tenders endlessly, either for water skiing, or exploring, or
fishing, or just so you can enjoy an exhilarating ride. The sports
equipment on board is maintained by experts, and upgraded on a regular
basis.
|
|||
The
Bathing Platform, with the 'MGM' (remember 'Showboat') stairs down from
the aft deck, give easy and safe access for swimming, snorkelling, or
embarking the tenders. This facility makes the use of the Water Scooters
a 'breeze'.
|
|||
Like
the rest of "MONACO", the Engine Room is immaculate, and the
Chief Engineer is justly proud of his domain. He will be delighted to
show you around. If you brush up on the yacht's technical details before
hand (Click here to go to Specification
page) - he will be suitable
impressed ! |
